Jonathan Buremo Adeyemi, of Garland, Texas, formerly of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.

Burial: Skyvue Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, Texas.
Born to Alahji Yusuf Adeshina Adeyemi and Abigail Sarah Afolabi Adeyemi of Ifelodun local government. He attended ECWA: Evangelical Church of West Africa and then went on to Baptist Teacher's College in Minna. He later became a headmaster at Ecwa School Oke-Daba, which started his teaching career and where he met his future wife Florence Bakare. They went on to get married in October 1971. To further his education he came to America in 1975. He attended an HBCU Philander Smith College where he attained his B.A. in Business Administration. He then went on to complete his master's degree at University of Arkansas, Little Rock.
In his free time, he loved photography, soccer, word searches and puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Adeyemi; daughters, Dr. Mrs. Olabisi Janet and Dr. Adewalo Olodapo, Adesola Adeyemi, Nikky Adeyemi; son, Olalekan James Adeyemi and Mayowa Adeyemi; grandchildren, Tayo Adeyemi, Destiny Dupe Clayborn, Tosin Joshua Adeyemi, Sade Clayborn; the ODU community and many more loving extended family members and friends.
