Alena LaVonne Bryant

Alena LaVonne Bryant went to be with her Lord February 4, 2025, at the age of 77.

On a beautiful April 22nd day in 1974, LaVonne was born to Jewel Douglas Swearingen and Pauline Sallee Swearingen in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She attended Arkadelphia High School in Arkansas and went on to become an office manager and pre-school assistant. She married Jimmy Haile in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2001. LaVonne attended and was a vital part of Joshua Methodist Church and Manchester Methodist Church. She was a water baby and loved to be out on the water. She found a love for crafting and creating things, as well as stopping to enjoy the outdoor life. Whether cheering on her Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, or exploring America, she was always an active woman. Above all this though, she deeply loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spent as much time with them as she could.

"Aunt Von, Mom, Grammy" was a strong woman, selfless giver, and the glue that held it all together.

We are thankful for her family who was always by her side, and her sister and best friend that was with her every step of the way.

She is welcomed into Heaven by her father, Jewel Douglas Swearingen; mother, Pauline Swearingen; brother, Jewell Douglas Swearingen Jr. (Doug); husband, Jimmy Haile; sister-in-law, Anna Swearingen; brother-in-law, Michael Laws.

Those left to cherish LaVonne's memory are her sons, Steve Bryant, Todd Bryant; sister, Kay Laws; grandchildren, Chad Bryant and wife Anna, Tori Lee Bryant, Steven Bryant; great-grandchildren, Khaleesia, Dracarys, Khari, Khyzah, Zendaya, Koa; nieces, Monica Campbell and husband Joel, Julie Fenn and husband Ryon; nephew, Matt Laws and wife Allison; special family or friends, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Slaughter.
