Alice Mae Bryant Williams
Alice Mae Bryant Williams 82 died unexpectedly January 3, 2024, at Ennis Regional
Medical Center after a bucket list trip to Buckee’s. She was born February 16, 1941, in
Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Lee Roy Bryant and Anne Mary Broyles Bryant.
Alice graduated from Sunset High School, Dallas, TX, Class of 1959. She then attended
Arlington State College with an associate degree. Following college, she began her
career working as a secretary at Harvest Queen Mill & Elevator Co. In 1964 she married
the one true love of her life Burl Waine Williams and were married for over 40 years,
even when the marriage ended their friendship remained. Together they had two
children Jay Dean and Tammy Alane and for Alice she would say that these were her
greatest accomplishments, and she would become a stay-at-home mom. As they grew,
she would go back to college at Tarrant County Junior College, and she would begin a
new career with BNSF Railroad where she would work until she retired at the age of 65.
Alice’s greatest love was being with her family, her children, grandchildren, and her
great grandchildren. They brought her so much joy and she them.
In addition to her parents Lee Roy Bryant and Anne Mary Broyles Bryant she was
proceeded in death by Burl Waine Williams of Mansfield, TX and brother Fred Allen
Bryant of Waxahachie, TX.
Surviving are son Jay Dean Williams and wife Donna of Larue, TX, daughter Tammy
Alane Bridges of Rendon, granddaughter Morgan Whiteway and husband Alex,
granddaughter Judi Harris and husband Clayton, granddaughter Krystal Sandefur and
husband Brent, granddaughter Candice Collins, granddaughter Casie White,
granddaughter Courtney Nutt and husband Andrew, grandson Nathan Williams and
fiancé Miranda, great grandchildren BraeLynn Harris, Raeven Harris, Jaycee Harris,
Carson Thompson, SkyeLann White, RaeLynn O’Brien, Briggs Sandefur, Jase
Sandefur, Emma Sandefur, Caseon Sandefur, Kohen Sandefur, Lincoln Whiteway,
BrynnLee Williams, Briar Sandefur, sister Lee Ann Phillips of Burleson and brother Lee
Roy Bryant Jr. or Grandbury.
A Celebration of Life will be held 12 pm Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Skyvue
Funeral Home, 7220 FM 1187, Mansfield, TX 76063.
