Aline Mae Wyrick

Aline Mae Wyrick has gone to be with the Lord on October 7, 2024, at the age of 72.

Mae was born on December 17, 1951, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Aline May Jacobs and Roy Stanley Blackston. She married Robert Lee Wyrick, Sr. on June 1, 1971, in Troy, Kansas. She earned her associate's degree in nursing in 1985 and went on to earn a bachelor's in nursing in 1997 from Texas Christian University. She has been a registered nurse since 1985, which she considered one of her greatest accomplishments, along with being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member at First Baptist Church - Rendon. Mae enjoyed crocheting, travelling, and reading. Some of her most cherished memories were taking family trips in the happy bus, and all of the wild stories Papa told the grandkids. 

Mae is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Bob; her parents, Aline and Roy.

Those left to cherish Mae are her three children, Shannin Palmer (Jason), Rhonda Fuselier (Jerry), and Robert L. Wyrick, Jr. (Kara); her sisters, Jean Smith and Marcia Blackston; her brothers, Roy Edward Blackston (Karen), Robert Stanley Blackston, Karl Ray Blackston (Michelle), and Terry Joseph Blackston; her grandchildren, Maegen Raley (Jason), Frank Thomas Dixon V (Berkeley), Kody Lee Wyrick (Lexi), Courtney Danielle Campbell (Trent), Mikaela Brianne Beske (Trenton), Gage Logan Fuselier, Ryan Kyle Preston (Sierra), Jace Bryan Fuselier, Asa Randal Fuselier, Aiden Robert Fuselier, Lane Jaxon Palmer, and Robert Don Wyrick; her great-grandchildren, Cooper, Jewel, Chandler, Ivy, and Stevie; her 23 nieces and nephews; her best friend, Peggy Baty.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
