H Anthony

HC "Tony" Anthony was born on October 17, 1933 in Alfalfa, OK & died on September 12, 2017 in Mansfield, TX.  He married Barbara Wilburn on May 23, 1953 at Swan Lake Baptist Church where they both attended.  They were raised on farms & were a"next door neighbors" with 1/4 mile of farm land between them.  Barbara was 12 years old when she began playing the piano at church while HC led music at age 15. Their first child, Stevie Joe, was born on February 8th, 1955.  They followed the footsteps of their parents as dry farmers raising peanuts & cotton.  In 1956, the crops failed because of drought.  Determined to provide the best possible life for his family, he brought them to Fort Worth.  Once he arrived in Texas, people called him "Tony".  When they first got to town, he found work at a gas station.  In 1958 went to work at Specialty Products Company starting his career in the warehouse.  He worked his way through the company & later owned the business. HC retired in 2000.  Their second child,  Lori DeLane was born on October 30, 1969.  Since retirement, he has enjoyed many things including travel, golf & fellowship with family & friends.

HC is preceeded in death by his parents - Lee & Ettna; brothers - Ricky & Herbert; son - Stevie Joe.

He is survived by loving wife Barbara; daughter Lori (Steven); brother - Jack (Jane); grandsons - Travis (Andi), Hunter, Dalton (Melody); grandaughters - Jessica, Bailey, Margaret, Ingrid (Adi); great grandchildren - Lacey, Colton, Gwen, Legend & Lasyus along with many other relatives & friends.
