Anthony Wayne Paschal Sr. was a beloved husband, father, spiritual mentor, leader, and friend. Anthony, a dedicated and compassionate man, passed away on Thursday morning, March 6th, leaving behind a lasting legacy of kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support for others.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Claudine Malone and Samuel Paschal, Sr. He is survived by his large and beloved family: his wife, Hyomara Paschal; his children, Anthony (Teiko), Jennifer, Timothy (Kecia), Nicholas, and Caleb; his former spouse, Silvia Kennedy; his brothers and their wives, Samuel Jr. (Rachel), Reggie, Keith (Adriene); his niece and nephews, Samuel III, Shaun, James, and Ashley; and his grandkids, Isaiah, Kaori, Zion, Taniya, Kai, and Olivia; and a whole host of family and friends. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he worked tirelessly to create a home filled with love, respect, and support.
A leader in every sense, Anthony was a powerful speaker and a spiritual mentor to many. He was a guiding light to those in need, offering his wisdom and encouragement to those navigating difficult times. His heart was always drawn to helping others, whether it was advocating for the voiceless or providing aid in communities across the globe, including South Africa, Zimbabwe, Jamaica, Panama, and throughout North America. His selflessness and drive to bring justice to others knew no boundaries.
As an advocate for health and well-being, Anthony lived an active life, participating in outdoor activities, including hiking, softball, and marathons. His commitment to health was not only for himself but also for others, inspiring many to prioritize wellness. He was a firm believer in the importance of a healthy lifestyle and encouraged those around him to embrace physical activity and healthy choices.
Anthony was deeply committed to community building, particularly in areas with limited resources. He dedicated much of his life to working with youth, mentoring them and guiding them toward brighter futures. His passion for justice and his advocacy for youth was evident in every community he touched.
Anthony’s greatest joy came from connecting with others, whether through deep conversations or shared moments of laughter. He was always there to lend a helping hand, and his presence will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and hope. Anthony’s impact will forever be felt in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many communities he served. He will be remembered as a man who lived with purpose, passion, and a deep sense of duty to others. May his memory continue to inspire and guide those who carry his light forward.
Rest in peace, Anthony. He will be loved beyond measure and will never be forgotten.
