In Loving Memory of Audrey Jo Emerson

Audrey “Jo” Emerson, age 74, was peacefully called home following a short illness on January 14. Born on June 1, 1949, in Cleburne, Texas, Audrey was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Nobles) and Billy Joe (Pete) Boswell. She graduated from Paschal High School in 1969, and later married the late David Emerson. Audrey and David resided in Crowley, Texas for many years, and she was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She was also employed with the City of Crowley early on, and later in the District Clerk’s office for Johnson County.

Audrey enjoyed quilting, and was a talented artist, but she enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law Lori and Garry Kennemur of Burleson, Texas, and her grandsons Garry, Tyler, and Warren; sister Kristy Cox and her husband Cary of Troy, Texas; brother Gary Boswell and wife Kaye of Hewitt, Texas; and sister Karen Trager of Center, Colorado, as well as several nieces and nephews and dear friends.

A memorial will be held on January 25, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield, TX.
