Augustus Leon Jenkins, Jr. “Gus”, born February 6, 1965, went to be with his heavenly Father on February 25, 2025. He was born to Ethel and Augustus Jenkins in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the youngest of nine children. Augustus grew up and went to school in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was known for his humor and infectious laughter, love for his family, and his passion for cars. He could spot any car on a road and tell you what make it was. He also had a love for music, like Rock and Roll and R&B, knowing the words to the songs. He was known to have a unique language and communication style all his own, greeting people with “what’s crack a lackin,” “yellow is the color” and ending the conversation with “Yey.”
The Lord put his arms around Gus and he is now reunited with his parents, grandparents, a sister Casandra and others that have gone on before him. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Sheneatha Lee; daughter Tiffany Jenkins; three sisters, Cynthia, Rosalyn and Michelle; four brothers, Robert, Michael, Victor and Vincent. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
