Gloria was born in Libertyville, Illinois to Vincent and Frances Castellanos. Gloria spent her life living in Washington State, where she moved when she married her first husband. She continued to live there until she became too ill to live on her own, and has been living in Burleson, Texas with her daughter Sherri since September, 2013.
Gloria worked as a CNA for a number of years. She retired in 1994 to spend time with her husband and enjoy life traveling to see family far away.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Axtell, and previous spouses John Fardis and Howie Johnston. Survived by her children: Frances (Jean), Sherri (Kevin), Gloria (Nolan), Vicki (Fred), Larry, Terry & Cindy. Johnny and Buddy, Deceased.
Also survived by her brothers and sisters: John, Ray, Pat & Connie. Chuck, Lou, Toni, Ginny, Vincent Jr. (Juni) and Mary Theresa, deceased.
And her grandchildren: Megan (Rusty), Karmen (Adam), Justin, Antonia, Curtis, Johnny, Casey (Julia), Sherry(Jerry), Tammy, Donald, Jason, Korene (Mark), Troy (Holly), Shantel, Barbara, Sissy & Michael. 27 Great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild
There will be a memorial in her honor at Skyvue Funeral Home, in Kennedale, Texas, on Monday December 8, 2014 at 3:00PM.
