Benjamin "Benjie" Baca Jr., 52, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014.
Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield. Interment: Calvary Cemetery. Rosary service: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, make donations to St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry or the Tarrant County Food Bank.
Benjie was a member of the Cedar Hill Lions Club, Sigma Phi Epsilon and St. Jude Catholic Church, and was the owner of Baca Manufacturing Jewelers in Cedar Hill.
Benjie was preceded in death by his brother, Andy Alarid.
Survivors: Parents, Benjamin and Marie Baca; brothers, Albert Alarid and wife, Carilyn, Steven Baca; sisters, Annette MacNiven and husband, Tom, Lorraine Cox, Patricia Bennett and husband, Ric; and numerous nieces and nephews.
