Antonio Balestracci, also know as Tony or Butch to his loved ones and friends, 73 of Burleson, Texas passed away peacefully at home Sunday March 7, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Although Butch had a wonderful childhood, he felt like his life had just began when he married the love of his life, Mary in 1970 and raised two beautiful and delightful children together.
In 1968, at the age of 21, he joined the Untied States Marine Corp, serving in the Vietnam from 1968-1970. Upon his return from Vietnam, his sister, Anta introduced him to her best friend, Mary. That is when it happened, he was completely tantalized... thus the beginning of the rest of his life. He proudly retired as a Sargent from USMC in 1976. He and his family moved to Texas in 1977 where he obtained a position at Lockheed, formally General Dynamics, where he was grateful to have worked for more then 40 years, recently retiring in January of 2021 after a diagnosis of terminal cancer.
Butch was a natural born provider, he lived for his family to feel safe, secure, and cherished. He was so elated to have survived his diagnosis long enough to celebrate his and Mary's "50th Wedding Anniversary," especially with his family and friends. Although he will be missed by us here on earth, we are blessed to know that he is with Jesus and all of the family that he so desperately mourned. He is now in Heaven with his son, Antonio Lawrence Balestracci; parents, Oseo amd Mary Balestracci; sister, Anita George; sister-in-law, Theresa Pettus; nephew, Daniel Lawrence Pettus; brother-in-law, Wesley Hunt.
