Aurora Barbosa

BURLESON -- Aurora Moya Barbosa departed this life on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 2:45 a.m. to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, at the age of 92.
Visitation at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Skyvue Funeral Home. Service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Skyvue Funeral Home. Burial at a later date.
Aurora was born on Feb. 10, 1924, to her parents, Romulo Moya and Sarah Aguilar in El Paso, Texas.
She was the wife of Marcus C. Barbosa. They were married 57 years. Before he passed away on July 30, 2003, they made their life peaceful and happy.
She leaves behind three children, one brother, grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Survivors: Daughter, Sally Ward and her husband, Russell; sons, Edward Mendez and his wife, Sally Jo, Mark Barbosa and his wife, Mary Jo; brother, Lorenzo Moya; grandchildren, Rio Ward, Lori Ward, Chris Mendez (deceased), Jennifer Sanders, Hunter Barbosa and Megan Barbosa; great-grandchildren, Jessica Ward, Rachel Ward, Matthew Goetz, Aubrey Barbosa, Bryce Saunders, Jacob Mendez and Riley Saunders; great-great-granddaughter, Ainsley Haranga; along with numerous nieces and nephews, all who loved and will miss her dearly. They were her life.
A thank you to her neighbors on Shenandoah and her three little girls across the street, her banker, Bruce Daulton and to all of the nurses at The Pavilion.
