Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Lee Barney; son, Robert Barney, granddaughter, Carla Bodessa; siblings, Josephine Thompson, Melvin Murry, Floyd Murry and Bill Murry.
Survivors: Husband, Mateo Buentello; daughters, Linda Barney Smith, Shirley Barney King and husband Jay; sisters, Fanny Burdick and Laura Syrell; grandchildren, Brandi McClain, John Bodessa, Angela Brown, Chanel Collins, Travis King and Truman Barney ; 8 great grandchildren.
