Betty Jean Sims

Betty Jean Sims has peacefully passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 88.

Betty was born on July 4, 1936, to James Cox and Gladys Grimes Mcgee in Fort Worth, Texas. Betty loved bowling, traveling, and playing dominoes.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and James; her brothers, Frank and Tim; her son, Don Sims; her niece, Cynthia; her sister, Mary Cox.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Patricia Carter, and her son, Kenneth and Salome Sims; her sisters, Janice and ED, Fannie and Clifford, Martha and Lawerence; her brother, James; her grandchildren, Krystal and Matt Buyten, Chris Carter, Rebecca and James Trinkle, and Melissa Sims Van Hooser; her great-grandchildren, Jett Buyten, Joslyn and Josh Trinkle, Addison and Tyler Van Hooser, Jolene, and Kenneth Sims, Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Sheila Rhinefort, Gina Burney, Mark Hudson, and Scott Davis; along with many other loving family members and friends.
