Beverly Marlon Winston was born to Theodore Reed, Sr. and Gladys Reed in Fort Worth, Texas on January 04, 1949.
Beverly attended Morningside Middle School and proceeded to graduate from I.M. Terrell. She went on to Cosmetology School and earned her license in Cosmetology. Beverly was an entrepreneur, investor and part owner in Hit City Records. She moved on to become a secretary for Fort Worth Independent School District for many years until she retired.
Beverly was joined in Holy Matrimony to Curtis Lee Winston, Sr. on June 26, 1976, and of that union, she became a mother of three.
Beverly was known for her feistiness, her pearls of wisdom and sharing a smile that could light up any room.
As life would have it, September 11, 2024, Beverly Marlon Winston answered the Master’s call and peacefully transitioned to be home with her Lord and her loving parents, Theodore and Gladys Reed Sr.; siblings, Barbara Richelle Reed Adams, Deborah Kay Reed, Theodore Thomas Reed Jr., and Gregory Earl Reed Sr.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her beloved daughter, Ilicia Winston (Janetta); sons, Marvin Ray Carter Jr. and Curtis Lee Winston Jr.; sister, Stephanie Boone; brother, Ronald Reed Sr.; seven grandchildren, Ke’Andria Smith-Carter, Christopher Smith, Hevenlyn Carter, Marvin Ray Carter III, Maresa Carter, Savanna Carter, Dorian Winston and Jerniceon Primus; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
