David Alton Bishop, 80, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013.
Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Skyvue Funeral Home.
David was the first police chief of the Crowley Police Department, served in the United States Army and later became a truck driver.
David was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mildred.
Survivors: Sons, Travis (Linda), Wayne and Pete Bishop (Lisa); grandchildren, Chad, Chris, Tera, Trever, Anthony and Emily Bishop; and great-grandchildren, Skyler and Ailey Bishop.
