Red is preceded in death by father, C.C. Blackwell; mother, Ester Ruth Robertson; son, C.C. Blackwell.
He is survived by wife, Judy Blackwell; son, Jon Perkins, Bill and Kristen Lowrance, Jeff and Janelle Lowrance, Richard " Zeke" Blackwell; daughters, Robin Blackwell, Lindy and Shauna Blackwell, Vicky Kay and Kenneth Mobley; sister, Lavada Blackwell Newell; 15 grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren and many more loved nieces, nephews, and friends and family.
