Lenora Burns went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2018. Lenora was born on January 26, 1941, in Newellton, Louisiana to her parents, Earl Cox and Beatrice Smith. She was a faithful member of Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in Ft. Worth until her health began to decline.
Lenora is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Burns, Jr.
Those whom are left to cherish her memory include her sons, Ricky Cox (Debra) and Charlie Burns IV; daughters, Detra Whitmore (Rodney); Nancy Sealy (James); siblings, Dave Cox(Eartha), Betty Jean Perkins (Dave), Ernest Cox (Aretha) and Eddie Cox along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins who love her and will miss her dearly.
