Leslie was born September 27, 1960 in Ft. Worth to Leroy Butler and Cupid C. (Gillis) Butler Williams.
He graduated from Arlington Heights HS in 1979 and attended Ranger Community College in Ranger TX. He was a standout athlete for these institutions, helping to lead Arlington Heights HS to back to back district football championships in 78 and 79.
He volunteered for military service in 1983 where he served as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate-Fuels, on the USS Kitty Hawk, maintaining and operating aviation fuel systems and later as a Construction Battalion Electrical Equipment Repairmen in the Naval Reserve. He ended his service and was honorably discharged in 1988.
After the military he worked as a Journeyman Electrician and then became a Registered Dental Assistant.
For those who knew him, knew he loved to have a good time. He leaves you with this:

• So make the best of this test and don’t ask why,
• It’s not a question but a lesson learned in time,
• It’s something unpredictable

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ricky Butler.
Survivors include son Steven C. Adams and daughter Psyche Butler. Sisters, Mary E. Jefferson, Parliciar Ramirez and Veronica L. Ekpete all of Fort Worth. Brother, Willie R. Butler and wife Jewell of Waco. Uncle Bennie Butler and wife Lou of Fort Worth. Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives.
