Carlos Julian Owens, Sr.

Carlos Julian Owens, Sr., 80, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. 

Carlos was born on July 20, 1943, in Lake Wales, Florida, to Thomas Julian Owens and Irma Ellen Singleton. Carlos was a retired High School History Teacher and loved to do family history and genealogy.

Carlos is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Irma Owens.

Carlos is survived by his brothers, Lynn and Marvin Owens; his sisters, Lauana Rae Fountain, and Joy Owens; his former wife, Darlene Owens; his children, Carlos Owens Jr., Clay Owens, Court Owens, and Kelly Owens; his grandchildren, Taylor Christie, Rylee, Adyson, Hailey, and Skylar Owens; his nieces, Casey Owens, Heather Owens, Julie Fountain, Rachel Laylin, Jill Berry, and Kristen Swanson; his nephews, Thomas Owens, Brett Fountain, Jason Owens, Nick Owens, Paul Swanson, and Brian Swanson.
