Sam Castillo

Sam Castillo was born in Austin, Texas on January 15, 1957 to Vincente and Antonia Castillo. He moved to Dallas, Texas and that is where he met the love of his life Sandra Saldana. Sam and Sandy lived in Dallas with their 4 children. Sam worked for Walmart and was given opportunities to move his family around. They chose Burleson, Texas as their hometown. There, he was a store co-manager at a Supercenter and in 2000 he became a store manager at a Neighborhood Market in Arlington until he retired in 2011. Sam and Sandy started enjoying retirement to the fullest, especially since by this time they had 8 grandchildren that kept them busy. Sam loved his family to the fullest and was the best role model to them all.
Sam passed away on August 13, 2020 in Burleson Texas.
Sam is survived by his wife of 42 years Sandra Castillo, his children Melissa, Erica, Anthony, Jeanette and her husband Victor Rangel. His grandchildren Destiny, Alecia, Alexis, Micah, Nicole, Mackenzie, Madyson, Joseph and 3 great grandchildren. His 5 siblings and their families. Plus other family members and an abundance of friends. He will truly be missed.
