Lewis Daniel Caudill Jr.
Sgt. Lewis Daniel Caudill Jr., 65, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away at Kindred Hospital unexpectedly on
November 16, 2020 due to a medical condition.
Lewis was born on June 12, 1955 in Fort Hood, Texas. He was a veteran Sergeant of the United States
Army who served overseas and was dedicated to serving and protecting the freedoms and liberties that
this country stands for. In his spare time, he loved hunting, watching NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys,
and spending time with his family and church. He served the Lord with all of this heart, and was a
dedicated and hard working member of the Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford family.
Lewis is preceded in death by his mother Sarah Smith Bainbridge, father Lewis Daniel Caudill Sr., brothers
Johnny Lenore, George Lenore, and Eddie Lenore, sister Rosie Lenore, and two children, Roger Dale
Burks and Jimmy Darrel Caudill.
Lewis is survived by his brother Tommy Bainbridge, and sisters Ruby Boswell and Judy Guess.
One of Lewis’s biggest accomplishments was being a father. His surviving children, Lisa Deann Tyler,
Leslie Doris Caudill, Lirenda Denise Caudill, Lorena Dawn Caudill, and Lewis Daniel Caudill III, and
stepchildren Robert Campbell, Dana Hammett, and Michael Burks, and sons-in-law Phillip Tyler, Jason
Impullitti, and Henry Hawkins, all looked up to him as someone to cherish and respect. He was always
there for them through their ups and downs and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer.
Lewis was also a proud grandfather of nine surviving grandchildren, Katelyn Brooke Caudill-Royce, Halie
Sao Oum, Julie Elizabeth Tyler, Joslyn Kate Tyler, Jaxson Allen Tyler, Jordyn Grace Tyler, Ryder Treyvon
Hawkins, Dakota Dale Burks, and Lacey Nicole DeAnn Burks. He was their world and they were his.
