While stationed in Germany with Frank and Billye, they traveled throughout Europe She loved fishing just like her mother. She had a green thumb and was never without flowers and vegetables growing all around her home. She was an avid bowler and bowled in tournaments throughout the country, traveling with her teammates, winning and receiving numerous awards. She was a naturally gifted cook something she inherited from her mother. She worked and managed a number of restaurants and kitchens. Dominos have always been a family tradition whenever they got together and she was a fierce and fun competitor. She was never without a camera and at every event always took photos, which she enjoyed sharing with family and friends.

She is the last petal on the Rose. Preceded in death by her husband SFC Frank Adams, her parents Joseph and Emozell Rose, her siblings A.D. Rose, James Arthur, Betty Macon, Elver Jean Betts, R.B. Rose, Bernice Thomas.

She leaves behind her son Billye Adams, daughter-in-law Deanne, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families who she loved dearly.

THE LAST ROSE OF SUMMER

'Tis the last rose of summer, left blooming alone;

All her lovely companions are faded and gone.

No flower of her kindred, no rosebud is nigh,

To reflect back her blushes, or give sigh for sigh.

I'll not leave thee, thou lone one, to pine on the stem;

Since the lovely are sleeping, go sleep thou with them;

Thus kindly I scatter thy leaves o'er the bed.

Where thy mates of the garden lie scentless and dead.

So soon may I follow, when friendships decay.

And from loves shining circle the gems drop away:

When true hearts lie withered, and fond ones are flown.

Oh! who would inhabit this bleak world alone?
