Emma Anaya Cervantes

Emma Anaya Cervantes, age 65, of Mansfield, TX, passed away on the 22 nd
of March after a lengthy battle with cancer. She returned to her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family who marveled at her courageous spirit and tremendous amount of faith in the Lord our God.Emma was born on the 7th of February in the year 1955 to Refugio and Aurora Anaya in the city of
Terrero. In 1977, she met Bernardo Cervantes, and they became husband and wife in 1978. Together,
they raised a beautiful family of four children. Emma was a dedicated and supportive wife, mother, and
grandmother who leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and grace.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, the 25th of March, between the hours of 4-8 PM and Emma will
be laid to rest on Thursday, the 26 th of March, at the Skyvue Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family
requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 1208 Delaware Dr. Mansfield, TX, 76063.
Emma joins her father, Refugio Anaya; her sister, Lucia; and her brother, Lupito in Heaven. She will be
lovingly remembered by her mother, Aurora Anaya, her husband, Bernardo, her children, Rocio, Violeta,
Cristal, and Bernardo Jr., her grandchildren, Logan, Julian, Mateo, Emma, and Lucas, and her siblings,
Piedad, Fulgensio, Refugio Jr., Elizabeth, Elva, Guadalupe, Mario, Agustin, Rosa, and Veronica.
