Cheryl Ann Hamilton has peacefully passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 74.
Cheryl was born on October 25, 1950, in Allegan, Michigan. When she was 12 years old, her parents bought her a horse, Reba. Cheryl became a proficient rider, and even competed in countless barrel racing competitions. After graduating from Otsego High School in Otsego, Michigan in 1968, Cheryl went on to work for Parker Hannifin Corporation as a sales correspondent. This is where she met her future husband, Steve Hamilton.
Cheryl and Steve were married on February 14, 1976, and they had three sons, Stephen in 1976, Chris in 1980, and finally, Nathan in 1981. In 1983, the family was transferred to Albion, Indiana, where they lived for the next 10 years. Cheryl became involved in the community, as she was an active member of Tri Kappa. She also became a teacher's aide at the Albion grade school, so that she could be closer to her three little boys. In 1992, the family was transferred to Fort Worth, Texas, where they would spend the next 33 years. She became the office manager for Nuance Dental ceramics in 1997, where she would end up retiring in 2024 after 27 years. She loved working there with the owner, the employees, and the dentists.
One of the greatest joys of Cheryl's life was her only grandchild, Kayleigh, Nathan's daughter. Both Cheryl and Kayleigh loved spending time together going shopping, getting their nails done, and so many other activities. Cheryl loved to crochet, and she was very invested in the interior design of her home. She loved planting and growing spring flowers and putting up her hummingbird feeders so she could watch the birds all summer long.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 49 years, Steve Hamilton; her three sons, Stephen and Cori Hamilton, Chris and Lauren Hamilton, and Nathan Hamilton, and her granddaughter, Kayleigh Hamilton.
