SGT. Brett Michael Dean, 24, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in his hometown of Crowley.
Funeral: 12 noon Saturday, in Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Burial: Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Skyvue Funeral Home.
SGT. Dean was born on February 16, 1990 in Dallas, TX. He was a enlisted in the United States Marine Corps from 2008 to 2012 and was in the process of reenlisting. He was a graduate of Mansfield High School in 2008. Dean was preceded in death by his father, Michael (Mike ) Dean.
Survivors:Mother, Mitzi Smith; sisters, Hollie Dean and Alisha Dean; brother, Nesta Smith; grandparents, Don and Barbara Dean; uncle, Jeff Dean and wife Carmen; aunt, Marni Smith; cousins, Brittany Stech and husband Stetson, Brannon Dean, and Gage Smith; and many other family members and friends.
