Douglas Duane Rollo

Douglas Duane Rollo of Denton, Texas and formerly of Lewisville, Texas was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the age of 68. Douglas was born March 1, 1957, in Cadilac, Michigan to Robert E. Rollo, Sr. and Melvina Theresa (McDill) Downey. He married Patti Sue (Allen) Rollo on September 6, 1986, in Cadillac, Michigan.

Douglas worked for Oleson’s Grocery Store in Cadillac, Lorillard Tobacco Company, owner of Hometown Locksmiths and at Mattress Firm. He graduated in the class of 1975 from Cadillac High School. Douglas was the owner/manager and CEO at All American Motorsports, the Founder and President of Northern Michigan Auto Sports Club, member of Cadillac Jaycees, Founder and President of NMRC – Remote Control Car Track. He really enjoyed Dirt Track Announcing at various tracks in Texas and Michigan, and remote-control car racing.

He is preceded in passing by his father, Robert E. Rollo, Sr.; mother, Melvina Downey; sister, Sandra Weatherwax; brother-in-law, Jerry Weatherwax.

Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his loving wife, Patti Sue Rollo; daughter, Tricia Marie Bridges and husband Rowdy; son, Casey Allen Rollo; sister, Karie Parker and husband Kip; brothers, Maurice Rollo, Bobby Rollo and wife Susie; grandchildren, Oakland Beck Bridges and Roman Barrett Bridges; along with several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
