John Stephen Fletcher II, 77, passed away on December 22, 2020.
Inurnment service: 10AM, Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Skyvue Memorial Gardens.
John was born in Fort Worth, Texas to his mother and father Virginia and John Fletcher.
John was not only a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church he was an active Baptist preacher at Willow Springs Church in Alvarado Texas. He enjoyed working with people so much he was also employed with various food sales companies as well. Before he began his career he attended and graduated from the University of Arlington located in Arlington Texas.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Wanda Fletcher; mother, Virginia Carmack Fletcher; father, John Stephen Fletcher; brothers Charles (Mack) Dawson, George Earl Fletcher; in-laws, Cecil and Dorothy Shelby.
John is survived by his son, Jim and wife Sheila Fletcher, Wayne Fletcher; grandchildren, John Fletcher, Tony Gutierrez, Emily Rendon Garcia, Belle Aiken, Mike Wiley and many more loved family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations to be made to the Heart to Heart Hospice on behalf of John.
