Wanda Fletcher, 71, passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 in Mansfield, TX.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Wanda was born on August 20, 1945 in Fort Worth, TX. and graduated for Mansfield high school in May of 1963. She became a Christian at Friendship Baptist church in the Britton farming community at the age of 16. She married Steve Fletcher on May 31, 1963 and was the proud mother two sons, Jim and Wayne. she work for State Bank of East Ft. Worth, Tiger Mart , Woodgrain Moulding, and homemaker, but most of all was a, loving wife,mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Some of her favorite Verses were Psalm 23 :1-6, and Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Cecil Shelby.
Survivors: Husband of 53 years, Steve Fletcher; sons, Jim Fletcher and wife Sheila and Wayne Fletcher; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
