Lashonda Gafney

Lashonda Lashell Gafney entered Heaven’s gates at the age of 52 on March 10, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas surrounded by comforting, compassionate people.
Lashonda was born on December 25, 1967 in Fort Worth, Texas to Joe and Rosie Gafney. She graduated from Trimble Tech High School in 1986 and then attended Tarrant County College for a couple of years. She worked in Medical Records for the majority of her career.
Lashonda enjoyed going to the movies and traveling when she could. She was blessed with two children and four grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Gafney.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Marquist Gafney and his wife Kecia; daughter, Tiera Taylor; mother, Rosie Mae Gafney; sisters, Cheryl Berry, Brenda Jones and LaFreda Adkins; grandchildren, DeSedrick Jackson, M.J. Gafney, Keiste Gafney and Renise Gafney; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
