Funeral: 11 am Wednesday, at Saint Jude Catholic Church of Mansfield. Burial: Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Rosary: 6:30 pm Tuesday, at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Jorge Vargas and Maria De Jesus Lara Vargas
Survivors: Husband, Celso R. Galvan; children, Martina Nieto and husband Noe, Jorge Galvan and wife Ana, Faustino Galvan and wife Araceli, Lupe Chavez and husband Roger, Javier Galvan and wife Melissa, and Maribel Espindola and husband Rudy; siblings, Celedonio Vargas, Filiberto Vargas, Francisco Vargas, Faustino Vargas, Juan Vargas, Jorge Vargas, Joel Vargas, Jaide Lara, Emma Cruz, Juana Mach, and Michael Vargas; 17 grandchildren.
