Gary Scott Dagenais

Gary Scott Dagenais of Cleburne, Texas, passed away at 6:08 am on Thursday December 26, 2024, at the age of 60.

Gary passed away peacefully at his home, he fought hard for 2 years courageously fighting stomach, lung and brain cancer.

Gary was born January 14, 1964, in Marquette, Michigan, to Mary Catherine (Ritari) Smith and Neil Dagenais. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Neil J Dagenais and Mary Dagenais, Billy R. Smith.

Gary graduated high school and was a brick mason. Gary enjoyed collecting cars, fishing and visiting the casinos, cooking for his friends and family to enjoy.

He married Stella Solis on December 21, 1981, in Alvarado, Texas, and had a happy 37 years of marriage.

Those left to cherish Gary's memory, is his loving wife, Stella Dagenais; daughter, Amanda and husband Harlod McPherson; sister, Lori and husband Timothy Betz; brothers, Michael and wife Robyn Dagenais, Billy and wife Deborah Smith, Tony and wife DeAnn Smith; as well as several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends too numerous to name.

A memorial service will held at a later date. Details will follow.
