Charles Edward Glover Jr., 61, passed away on Thursday September 29, 2022.
Memorial Service:12pm Friday, October 14, 2022 at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Charles was born on April 17, 1961, in San Luis Obispo, California to Marva and Charles E. Glover Sr. He met and fell in love with Shelia Darrett. He officially made her a Glover on January 2, 2004, and it has been history ever since. He had a passion for teaching others and became a social studies teacher after graduating Dillard University. Charles was affiliated with and a proud member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. His passion for others stemmed over into the United States Air Force where he served as Security Specialist. When he had spare time, he was known to dive deep into books and was an avid reader. He loved to put his readings into play at times and enjoyed taking adventures to new places with his beloved family. The Glover family would like to thank everyone who has been a helping hand throughout this entire process.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marva A. Glover; father-in-law, Tommie C. Darrett.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Sheila R. Glover (Darrett); daughters, Chynna A. Glover, Briana C.L. Glover; sons, Quintin D. Glover (Jameelah), Armon F. Bush ( Taronda); father, Charles E. Glover Sr.; sisters, Wanda Petite (Richard), Sheila Glover, Linda Glover, Domiche Glover; grandchildren, Quinn Glover, Kylee Bush, Damarreon Bush, Tariah Bush A'marrea Bush; numerous nieces, nephews and loved extended family and friends.
