Thomas Earl Goodman

Thomas Earl Goodman, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on September 5, 2020 at the age of 79. Visitation: 1-2pm Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Skyvue Funeral Home. Service: 2pm Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Skyvue. Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens.

Thomas was born on January 11, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to Thelma Bagley Goodman and Joseph Earl Goodman. On January 20, 1962 he married Sandra Ann Powell Goodman, who passed away on September 2, 2010.

Thomas graduated from West Texas State University. He went on to work as a real estate broker and mortgage loan officer for many years. He worshipped and fellowshipped at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. He loved God, family, country, and friends. He had a smile and a kind word for every stranger. His hobbies included guns, bridge, dominoes and karaoke. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Compassion International or the Pleasant View Baptist Church benevolence fund.

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Ann Powell Goodman.

He is survived by his sons, Gary Goodman and wife pat, Joseph Goodman; by his grandchildren, Danielle Szczesniak, Rebecca Goodman, Leah Goodman, Ryan Goodman, Taylor Goodman, Zachary Goodman, Haley Pham and fiancé Ryan Trahan; by the love and joy of his final years, Wanda Gober; and by many treasured friends.
