Betty Jean Heathcock

Betty Jean Heathcock was born January 25th 1938 in Laredo, Texas to Buck and Opel Meadows Smith. She passed from this life on April 1, 2021. After many years of health issues. She married Olan Heathcock in 1953. To this union four children were born. Betty Jean was preceded in death by both her parents, two sisters Billie Heathcock and Jimmie Burdette and her daughter Betty Carol Broseh. She is survived by one brother Willie Smith, son-in-law Larry Broseh, daughter Patricia Broseh and husband Randy Broseh, Audrey Jeanette Ford and husband Larry, son Olan Wayne Heathcock and wife Robyn, ten grandchildren; Jennifer Deerman, Ashely Finder, Chris Stanford, Amber Gallagher, Mandey Puckett, Rachael Russell, Brad Heathcock, Torey Broseh, Tiffany Bell, Taylor Broseh, and eleven great grandchildren. A host of friends who loved her as family.

The Visitation will be Tuesday April 6th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Skyvue Memorial Gardens located at 7220 F.M. 1187, Mansfield, Texas 76063. The Celebration of life services will be Wednesday April 7th at 12:00 pm in the Skyvue Chapel.

She was a long-time member of the the Church of Christ. During her lifetime she was a homemaker, a business owner, sold Mary Kay Cosmetics, and in later years was involved in the Real Estate Industry until her health began to fade.

She is loved and will be missed.
