March 8, 1968, Henry married his love, Elaine Comer in Waco, Texas.
Henry was in the Army as a mechanic. In his career outside of the Army he was in the automotive industry for the rest of his career.
Henry is survived by his wife, Elaine Brooks; daughter, Nanette Tate; grandchildren, Amy Silva and husband Diego, Brooks Tate, Zachary Tate; great-grandchildren, Valeria Silva, Gabriel Silva.
