Holly Anne O’Neal, lovingly known as “HollyRock,” passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 60 in Midlothian, Texas. Born on July 8, 1964, in the scenic coastal town of Laguna Beach, California. Holly lived a vibrant and beautiful life dedicated to her family, friends, and creating joyful memories.
Holly was the beloved daughter of Judith Bond Hawkins and Joe Irven Timms. On September 28, 1985, she married the love of her life, Montie Eugene O’Neal, who remains devoted to her memory. Together, they shared 39 incredible years of marriage, building a family full of love, laughter, and unshakable bonds.
Holly is survived by her devoted husband, Montie Eugene O’Neal, and their loving children: Colby Ryan O’Neal, Courtney O’Neal Flath, and Ethan Andrew O’Neal, as well as her cherished in-law children: Macy Paige O’Neal (wife of Ethan) and Kevin Michael Flath (husband of Courtney). Her greatest joy came from her role as “HollyRock” to her six adored grandchildren: Colby Ryan O’Neal Jr., Landry Elise O’Neal, Emmersyn Grace O’Neal, Ryker Blayne Flath, Cruz Elliott Flath, and Drake Owen Flath. Holly also leaves behind her beloved mother, Judith Bond Hawkins and siblings, Tammy Lynn Clary, Nicky Joe Timms, Tina Marie Timms, Joe Timms, Virginia Ivey, and Brick Boyett along with extended family and many dear friends who were fortunate to know her. She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Irven Timms.
Holly grew up in Duncanville, Texas, where she graduated from Duncanville High School, Class of 1982. She enjoyed a long, notable career in the financial services industry, specifically in mortgage, where her dedication and work ethic earned the admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
Holly’s life was centered on her family. Her passion for Disney was unmatched, and she found pure joy in taking her children and grandchildren to Disney World, creating magical memories that will last forever. Shopping was another favorite pastime, but above all, she loved being surrounded by the people she held dear. Her loyal Bichon Frise, Lucy, was her constant companion and a source of joy.
Holly will be remembered for her feisty, spunky, and resilient spirit. She was fiercely loyal, endlessly caring, and generous to a fault. Her beauty—both inside and out—shined through in everything she did. She had a rare ability to make everyone she met feel like they were her favorite person in the world. Her love for family and friends was unwavering, and she poured herself into their successes, always cheering the loudest from the sidelines. She was the glue that held so many together, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation to honor Holly’s life will take place on Thursday, December 19th, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20th, from 10 AM to 11 AM at First Baptist Church in Midlothian, Texas.
