Hoyt Wayne Felts

Hoyt Wayne Felts has peacefully passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 83.

Hoyt was born on April 28, 1941, in Telephone, Texas to Neva Pearl Easterwood and Berger Eugene Felts. He graduated from Green B. Trimble High School in Fort Worth in 1959, and he worked as an automotive technician. Hoyt married Carol Sue Bullock on January 6, 1961, in Fort Worth. He deeply loved his wife of 64 years, and the family they created together. Attending all of his grandchildren's activities, gardening, and watching the Texas Rangers were some of his favorite things to do. He was so happy he lived long enough to see his Rangers become World Series Champs in 2023. Hoyt was a DIY kind of man who could fix anything. 

Hoyt was so deeply loved, and his absence will be felt by those around him. A special thank you is owed to Fort Worth Hospice for all they have done.

Hoyt is preceded in death by his parents, Neva and Berger; his brothers, William Felts and Joe Felts; his great-granddaughter, Maddie.

Those left to cherish Hoyt's memories are his loving wife of over 64 years, Sue Felts; his daughters, Karen and Danny Hubbard, Brenda and Andy Ashlock; his son, Mike and Ruthie Felts; his grandchildren, Brandi and C.D. Barker, Brittany and Brandon Hill, Kolby and Jessica Felts, Jesse and Leanne Ashlock, Kati and Richard Coonrod, Bristol and Sean Flynn, Anna and Dylan Cobb, Abby and Cory Stitle; his great-grandchildren, Evan, Rylan, Gavin, Ava, James, Olive, Cooper, Hallie, Camden, Stetson, and Noa; along with many other loving family members and friends.
