James Ray Spivey, Sr.

James Ray Spivey, Sr. has peacefully passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 41.

James was born on June 20, 1983, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Jerry Paul Spivey, Sr. and Jodie Ann Bean Spivey. James married Ashley R. Spivey Currey on June 11, 2005. He was a tinkerer in everything he could. He was a man of many trades and a master of none. He enjoyed working on cars, go carts, race cars, building model cars, shooting pool, and playing disc golf. James was special in more way than one.

James is preceded in death by William Ray Vaughn, Jr., and his grandparents.

James is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, Ashley Spivey; his daughter, Natalie Spivey; his son, James R. Spivey, Jr.; his parents, Jerry and Jodie Ann Spivey; his sister, Valerie and Randy Stevens; his brother, Jerry and Ashley Spivey; his 7 nieces and nephews, and his great-nephew, Jayce Jackson, along with many more family and friends.
