Jeffrey Lee Smith

Jeffrey Lee Smith of Burleson, Texas, passed away February 3, 2025, in Lake Whitney, Texas, at the age of 58. His charismatic and joyful being will be deeply missed by all who had the honor and pleasure of knowing Jeff.

On a beautiful July 27th day in 1966, Jeff was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to Terry Lee Smith and Betty Ann Clark Smith. Through his life, he became a skilled welder specializing in handrails for over 30 years. Jeff was an energetic man and enjoyed the outdoors. He was often found relaxing on the bank with a fishing pole or dragging his kayak out to the water bank to enjoy a day on the lake. He was somewhat of an artist and found creativity in metal works and painting. Jeff was also known for being a musician.

He is preceded in death by his father, Terry Lee Smith.

Jeff has left many to cherish his memory including, his mother, Betty Clark Smith; sisters, Sandra and Mark Moretz, Phyllis Parkinson, Lori and Greg McKinney; nieces, Victoria and Jeff Weisheit, Brenna and Bobby Nolen, Kara Moretz, Hannah and Aston Chance; nephew, Cole McKinney; three great nephews, Brigham, Beckham, Barrett Nolen; as well as numerous lifetime friends that he referred to as family.
