Jennifer Lea Hallack

May 31, 1969 — March 18, 2025

Jennifer Lea Hallack has gone to be with the Lord on March 18, 2025, at the age of 55.

Jennifer was born on May 31, 1969, in Lubbock, Texas, to Nancy and Larry Ogle. She graduated from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor's in Food Science. Jennifer married Bill Hallack on October 19, 1996, in Nocona, Texas.

Jennifer was a woman of boundless energy and full of adventure. She had a deep love for the outdoors including swimming, boating, floating, cold water plunging, hiking, beaches and spending countless hours on the lake. She even loved tent camping. If swimming wasn’t allowed or she wasn’t prepared, she was determined to stick her feet in the water one way or another. Many have likely had the opportunity to hold her shoes and socks for her.

Jennifer had a knack for prioritizing those she cared about. She had impressive Snapchat streaks to prove it. She would always make time for a trip to Sonic or Starbucks with a friend. She looked forward to hosting her beloved annual "Camp Jen," where nieces and nephews were spoiled. One of her favorite traditions was Christmas in July because “one Christmas a year just isn’t enough”.

Not only would she make time for quick jaunts around town with friends, but Jennifer had a special love for traveling. She was always up for another trip and had many travel buddies. Her adventures took her to memorable destinations including Germany (where she met Bill), Costa Rica (twice!), Hawaii, Finland, Ireland, and all over the states. National Parks were her favorite, she was never disappointed in one. In the past few years, she even started traveling with strangers who quickly became some of her closet friends.

As an avid reader and thrill seeker, Jennifer found excitement in the works of Stephen King. She shared the love of reading with her dad. She was a member of multiple book clubs, but these clubs weren’t all about reading. They were more about spending time with people she cared about. Reading was a bonus.

Her playful spirit was evident in her love of bad jokes and board games, particularly Scrabble. She hadn’t played Scrabble in quite a while because her opponents were sick of losing and wouldn’t agree to play with her anymore. Her mom always played with her, but she had to cheat in order to win.

While she had many friends and made each of them feel special, none were as special as her family. Her love for her family was immeasurable. She poured her heart and soul into making sure they knew how deeply they were loved and valued. She took great joy in supporting their ventures and celebrating their accomplishments. She treasured the time spent with them, whether it was through simple, quiet moments at home or through exciting adventures they had together.

A woman of deep faith, Jennifer was a steadfast believer in the power of hope and perseverance. No matter the challenges she faced, she never gave up, always trusting in God. Her strength, courage and unwavering spirit inspired those around her to keep going even when times were tough. Jennifer’s faith was a constant source of comfort and guidance, both to her and to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her zest for life was matched by her passion for family, friends, and making memories with those she loved. Her life was a testament to the importance of relationships. Jennifer made everyone around her feel valued, loved, and cherished, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nancy and Larry.

Those left to cherish Jennifer's memory are her husband of over 28 years, Bill Hallack; her sons, Christian and Carson Hallack; her sisters, Cindy and Payton Wallace, Kristen and Chris Krager; her brother, Shane Ogle; her nieces and nephews, Katelyn and Zane Payne, Annabelle and Charlotte Krager, Ashlyn, Eden, and Olivia Ogle, Peyton Wallace, Bradley and Meagan Wallace, Brody and Hutch Payne; along with so, so many other loving family members and friends.
