Joan Cunningham Wilson

Joan Cunningham Wilson passed away peacefully on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the age of 88.

Joan was born and raised in East, Texas on January 29, 1935.  She graduated from nursing school in Tyler, Texas where she met Bill. They married in 1957 and were happily married for 65 years.  Joan was a Registered Nurse for 40 years and retired from nursing in 1998.  After retirement, Joan spent time with friends and family, volunteering at Arlington Charities and knitting many, many blankets for area hospitals.  She and Bill loved to travel in their motorhome and visited every state in the United States.  Joan will be remembered for her love of life, family and friends.

Joan is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Wilson.

Left to honor Joan’s memory are her children Tom & Martha Wilson, Larry & Margie Wilson, Doug and Maria Luisa Wilson, Beth & Ken Masters, her grandchildren, Jessica & Kyle Willemse, Amanda & Ross Hodges, Kayti, Eric, Jason, Brian and Rachel and her great grandchildren Paige, Branson and Celia.
