John William Watson Jr., of Burleson, TX. passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
John was born on May 5, 1940, to John Watson and Bernice Slinglend in Clare, Michigan. He married Laquita Joye Smith on October 12, 1978 in Fort Worth, TX. John lived in Mansfield for serval years before moving to Burleson and owned and operated Village Creek Liquare for 10 years and then worked for Walmart for 17 years before retiring. He loved woodworking, restoring furniture and leathercrafts.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Laquita Watson; mother and stepfather, Bernice and Bob Merritt; father, John Watson; son, Doug Clark; son in law Rico Gonzales.
