MANSFIELD—Billy Ray Jones Jr., 52, passed away on Friday, July 31.
SERVICES: 3 p.m. Friday, August 7, Skyvue Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd., Mansfield, Texas 76063. Viewing 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Thursday, August 6.
His lifelong love of motorcycles began in his teens racing motocross. He also enjoyed gatherings of family and friends at Lake Granbury for many years during his 20s and 30s.
Billy, wife Sherri and daughter Ashley shared good times with family and friends at poolside parties at their home. They frequently took family vacations at beaches as well as seagoing cruises.
He was employed for more than 30 years by BRJ Paving, Inc., a family owned business, and recently with Webber Heavy Highway Division.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Sherri; daughter, Ashley; father, Billy Jones Sr. and partner Kathy McDaniel; mother, Barbara Jo Jones Spoonts and husband Skip Spoonts; brother, Steven Jones; sister-in-law, Karen Jones:, sister, Lorrie Pitts and husband Patrick Pitts; father-in-law, Terry Hayes and wife Vickie Hayes; Brother-in-law, Josh Hayes and wife Amanda Hayes; Brother-in-law, David Hayes and wife Kim Hayes; nephews, Jordan Pitts and Michael Pitts, cousins, aunts and uncles.
