Donald (Don) Jordan, 82, left this life on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018.
Funeral: 10:00 am Saturday, March 3, at Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday, March 2, at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Don was born December 5, 1935 in Grapevine, Tx. He was preceded in death by his wife, Francis of 51 years.
He devoted much of his time after his after his wife passed in 2008 as a volunteer for the “Widowed Persons Service of Tarrant County”, an all-volunteer Organization that helps those that have lost a spouse through their grief and to rebuild their new life.
Don was a double retiree after his military service from 35 years at Texas Utilities Electric Company in their power plants as well as 12 years with the former Osteopathic Medical Center in west Fort Worth.
He left many friends and family to cherish his memory such as two fine sons, Randy Jordan and wife Lou Ann, Jeffrey Jordan and wife Therese; seven wonderful grandchildren with seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby and Clayton Jordan; one sister, Carolyn Edens; beloved friend and companion, Frances Lankston and all the Mansfield Burleson Area.
