Joseph William Vago III

Joseph William Vago III has passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 81.

Joseph was born on September 12, 1943, in Elkton, Maryland, to Joseph W. Vago, Jr. and Beatrice Lockhart. Joseph was a dedicated retiree of GM with over 30 years of service at Cadillac's Fleetwood and Poletown plants. He enjoyed his final years, where he resided with his son and family, relaxing in his recliner, telling stories of his younger years, and watching classic movies and Westerns.

Joseph proudly served in the US Army from July of 1965 until he was honorably discharged on June 30, 1967.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Beatrice; his sister, Barbara Vago; his brother, Jerry Vago.

Joseph is survived by his son, Brian Vago, and his wife, Christine, and son, Dominic; his daughter, Elizabeth Vago, and her children, Jenna, Brianna, and Brendan; his brother, Michael Vago, and his wife, Patricia, and James Vago; his great-grandchildren and nieces.
