Kenneth Dieter Gibbs, Sr. has gone to be with the Lord on April 6, 2024, at the age of 60.

Ken was born on April 27, 1963, in Nuernberg, Germany, to Eugene Gibbs and Erika Feyock. Ken lived in Lawton, Oklahoma and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1981. He joined the United States Air Force where he began his training in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1982. Ken attended Cameron University, Liberty University, and the CDM Institute. He was trained in aircraft maintenance, aero medicine, hearing conservation, and basic EMT skills. Ken served in the Air Force until 1986, where he then served in the Air National Guard until 1992. He married Sonya Williams on October 22, 1994 in Dallas, Texas. Ken was a former member of Cameron Baptist Church in Lawton, Ok, then Matthew Road Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Tx. He loved to draw and paint, play sports, woodworking, and teaching. 

Ken is preceded in death by his grandparents, Esau and Christina Gibbs, and Erich Alfred and Frieda Feyock.

Ken is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sonya Gibbs; his daughter, Samara Kae Gibbs; his sons, Kenny Dieter Gibbs II and Judah David Gibbs; his parents, Eugene and Erika Gibbs; his sister, Sharon and Korya James, Ret. Lt. Col.; his brother, Scoody (Eugene) and Erin Gibbs; his sister-in-law, Ann Mary Gibbs; his nieces, Jondaya Williams, Hannah, Sarah, Leah, and Moriah McCampbell, Abigail and Emma Williams, Anna and Alyvia Gibbs; his nephews, Kaleb, Jakob, and Isaak James, Jaden, Kellen, and Ryit Gibbs, Josiah McCampbell, David Jaden Williams; and a host of family and friends.
