Kennith Wayne Cox

Kennith Wayne Cox has passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 79.

Kennith was born on August 3, 1944, in Grand Prairie, Texas, to Elmer L. Cox and Oneda Gardner Cox McMillen. He married Shirley Ann Boggs on November 15, 1969, in Arlington, Tx. Kennith was a carpenter and painter, and he loved WWE, housework, and anything to do with car stereos. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Mansfield.

Kennith is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Oneda Cox McMillen; his brothers, Don and Bobby Cox; his sister, Linda Cox; and his niece, Carissa Diane Valentine.

Kennith is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley Cox; his daughter, Carie Ann and Gerald "Jerry" W. Walton; his son, Kevin Wade Cox and Colleen Standridge-Cox; his sister, Barbara McCormick; his brothers, Fred and Sammie Cox, Danny and Rita Cox; his grandchildren Courtney Renѐe Walton and Joshua Allen Walton; his nieces, Dana Shwaiko, Tammy Cox Diseker, Terri Lynn Schmidt, Sabrina Jones, Julie Miller, Terri Williams Smith, Amber Stepp, April McKay, Marla Cokes, Mindy Boggs, Elizabeth Ashley Perks, Danielle Stovall, Tammy and Lisa; his nephews, Matthew and Bob Cox.
