Lucy R. Kinsel (Keane)

Lucy R. Kinsel went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 14, 2023, in Decatur, Texas at the age of 74. Lucy was born in Jamaica, New York on May 13, 1948, to Peter T. Keane and Jean Murray Keane. She graduated from Concord Carlisle Regional High School. Lucy lived in Temple, Texas and in her later years moved to Rhome, Texas. She married Billy Kinsel, Sr. in Irving, Texas. Lucy worked for Citi Bank, 7/11 Corp. and later in life, her beloved East Senior Center. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Temple.
Lucy was assisted in her last days with the members of Solaris Hospice (Especially Mary and Sue) who took very good care of her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dennis; sisters, Jean and Elizabeth; husband, Billy Kinsel.

Lucy is survived by her daughters, Kelley Engstrom (Mike) and Kathy White; son, Frankie Medrano (Luca); step-son, Billy Kinsel, Jr. (Heather); sister, Margret Wilber (Rick); brother, Peter Keane (Linda); grandchildren, Amber Martinez (Lynn), Megan Brown (Mitch), Kaley Engstrom (Bailey), Robyn Burdette (Chris), Elias Medrano, Anneliese Medrano, William, Jonathan, Matthew and Andrew Kinsel; great-grandchildren, Cash and Pace Brown, James and Nola Martinez and Laurel Burdette; numerous nieces, nephews, dear friend and BFF, Angie Meadows as well as David Tiroff whom she loved as her own son.
