Donna Kaye Kunkel

Donna was born in Fort Worth, Texas on February 8, 1949 to Maxine and Lereoy Holland. She lived a blessed life full of love and compassion for all those around her. When Donna wasn’t raking in the millions at the casino or bingo hall, she was entertaining the grandkids with a cold Dr. Pepper in hand. She enjoyed fishing for rainbow trout from the White River during annual trips to Cotter, Arkansas also with a cold Dr. Pepper in hand. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Maxine and Lereoy Holland; brothers Ronnie Hunt and Teddy Hunt. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Gary Kunkel; son Scott Kunkel and wife Valerie; daughter Tammy Bass and husband Jimmy; sisters Martha Kunkel, Charlotte Norman and husband Billy Mike; grandchildren Dallas, Daphne, and Daisy Kunkel, Dennis Nkrumah, Stormie Worbington and husband Brandon; great grandchildren Maddie and soon to be Magnolia Worbington; nieces and nephews and countless others that she loved as if they were her own. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Donna’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
